If you ever craving homemade meals from back home and over the on-campus meals or fast-food, my go-to is Southfork Public House. It is only a mere five minute from main campus, and great for nights with friends or special date nights. The menu has decent pricing, especially for the amount and quality of food that you get. They provide a nice range of salads, burgers, pastas, and even some great dessert items for your sweet tooth.
If you aren’t sure on what is best to order, here are my go-to’s. The place is home to the best Mac & Cheese, featuring Washington State’s finest Cougar Gold cheese. If you are looking for a light refreshing meal, Southfork has great Street Tacos and provides the choice of either barbeque-pork or Cajun-seasoned white fish. Southfork has a couple great burger items, including a vegetarian Black Bean Burger which is served with all the condiments both meat-eaters and vegetarians would love! Lastly, if your stomach still has room for a little dessert, the Chocolate Brownie is served with vanilla ice cream and caramel and chocolate syrup on top!
